Our Alternative Provision Facilities
Our on-site facilities provide an engaging, safe and nurturing environment for both learners and staff
At Leading Futures, we are proud of our small yet highly effective team, skilled at quickly building strong relationships with learners. Our dedicated staff prioritise the physical health, safety, and emotional well-being of each learner. In addition, we organise educational trips that offer learners the chance to embrace new experiences, with plenty of opportunities for reward and sporting activities throughout our pathways.

We take great pride in our high standards of pastoral care and safeguarding. All learners have access to our SENDCo, Samantha Webster, for additional support with any special educational needs. To further support our learners, we have a Family Liaison Officer who works with both learners and their families to overcome any barriers preventing access to our provision. If a learner is not engaging with their pathway, the home school will be notified, and safe and well check visits will be conducted by home school staff.

Our close partnerships with career agencies help learners explore their options and make informed decisions about their post-16 pathways. We are committed to ensuring that every learner has the guidance and support they need to succeed both academically and personally.

Our classrooms are well-resourced and comfortably accommodate our small class sizes. The newly decorated classrooms and communal areas, in neutral and calming tones, create an inviting atmosphere conducive to learning. To further enhance their experience, learners also have access to IT equipment, and our small on-site kitchenette supports our “preparation for adulthood” program.

In our entrance area, we have our 'Community Cupboard,' which offers food parcels, hygiene packages, and clothing donations, generously provided by our staff and local businesses. We understand that some of our families may need additional support from time to time, and we are here to assist where we can.

All learners attend a 3-hour session, either in the morning or afternoon. As no lunch is provided, healthy snacks are available during break time, and learners are welcome to bring their own healthy snacks. Please note that fizzy drinks and energy drinks are not allowed on the premises. Water and squash are provided throughout the day.

Parents and carers of learners eligible for a Free School Meal should contact their school to enquire about lunch provision.

We are unable to offer transport to and from the provision. It is the responsibility of the home school, local authority, or parent/carer to make suitable travel arrangements. We kindly ask that arrival and departure times be adhered to, as other learning sessions are scheduled throughout the day.

At Leading Futures, we demonstrate an unwavering commitment to inclusivity, removing barriers to ensure that all learners experience both educational and holistic success. We look forward to working closely with you.
