Depending on the needs of our learners, Leading Futures will explore a hybrid approach to learning with the home, community and our provision

We recognise that some young people may have been away from an educational setting for a period of time. For these individuals a gradual reintegration to learning is beneficial. At Leading Futures we will explore Hybrid learning packages for learners that require this additional support. Our hybrid approach will be delivered within the home, at a suitable community venue and within our provision. A staff member will meet with the learner to deliver their 1-2-1 tutoring session.
The sessions will mirror our in-house curriculum to ensure that the learner is not disadvantaged in any way, in relation to their peers. Any resources needed for the sessions will be provided by Leading Futures. We constantly monitor learners' engagement with learning, attainment, interactions and behaviour in a safe and secure learning environment for all learners.
Our staff are also trained to support the wellbeing of our learners. We will always look to facilitate educational trips for these learners to ensure they connect their local area and community.
We are patient and calm with learners to ensure a trusting relationship is built with them from the onset. We will regularly review with the learner their progress. At a comfortable pace we will encourage the learner to increase their engagement. The aim is for all learners to happily attend the provision for their allocated sessions and work towards them reintegrating back into mainstream or specialist setting.
The Family Liaison Officer within our team also supports our learners and families to overcome any barriers to learning. If a learner does not engage with their programme, safe and well check visits will still be completed and the home school will be informed. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do.
