Join a Provision That Changes Futures
Leading Futures is seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor of English to join our growing Alternative Provision supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is more than a teaching role. It is an opportunity to transform confidence, rebuild engagement, and empower young people to achieve their potential in a truly inclusive environment.
The Role
You will:

Plan and deliver adaptive, engaging English lessons tailored to individual needs
-
Assess progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
-
Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
-
Work collaboratively with SEND specialists, support staff and families
-
Contribute to pastoral care and learner wellbeing
-
Uphold high standards of safeguarding and inclusive practice
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
-
Has strong knowledge of the English curriculum
-
Has experience teaching learners with SEND (alternative provision experience desirable)
-
Understands barriers to learning and how to remove them
-
Demonstrates resilience, empathy and high expectations
-
Is committed to inclusive education and ongoing professional development
-
A willingness to work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
