Meeting with Warinder Juss MP to Champion SEND Support
We are proud of the feedback we have received from Warinder Juss MP. After his visit, he sent the following quote:
“It was inspiring to visit Leading Futures and see the incredible work they’re doing to support neurodiverse and emotionally vulnerable learners. They are tackling some of the toughest challenges in our education system including Children being out of school due to unmet SEND needs, emotionally based school avoidance, and families feeling forced into doing home education. These are issues that cannot be ignored. I want to work with them and the local authority to ensure funding models and referral processes reflect the real cost of inclusive, therapeutic education. By investing in local, high-quality provision like this, we can improve outcomes and deliver better value for money.”

Opening Doors: Leading Futures Celebrates First Careers Fair Success!
What a fantastic day we’ve had at our very first Leading Futures Careers Fair!
We designed this event especially to support our SEND and home-educated learners – a space where they can explore post-16 options in a smaller, friendly environment.
Young people from across neighbouring local authorities joined us and got hands-on with so many sectors:
* transport 🚛
* construction 🏗️
* engineering ⚙️
* floristry 🌸
* commercial contracts 👷
The standout moment?
The young people absolutely impressed us with their floristry skills… could we have future florists in the making? 💐
A huge thank you to all the exhibitors whose passion and support helped make today a success. You inspired our young people and opened doors for their futures. Here’s to many more such events!

We hope you are looking forward to Comic Relief and Red Nose Day 2025. This year celebrates 40 years of fundraising!
The money raised will support those facing poverty here in the UK and around the world. Your support could help provide shelter for those that need it, put food on plates, fill the shelves of baby banks, offer someone to talk to or somewhere to be safe.
Remember to watch a night of comedy, entertainment, and incredible fundraising as Red Nose Day returns live on BBC One, BBC Two and iPlayer on Friday 21 March from 7pm.
This show is expected to celebrate 40 years of going big, giving big, and feeling good together. The show will bring the nation together with hilarious sketches, live performances, surprise moments, and show-stopping musical acts – all to raise vital funds for good causes across the UK and around the world.
